Further Support

The latest guidance states that pupils should NOT attend school if they have any of the following symptoms linked to COVID-19:

  • a high temperature
  • a new continuous cough
  • a loss of, or change to, your sense of taste or smell

Please call 119 or visit nhs.uk/coronavirus to book a test if you or anyone in your household is experiencing any of these symptoms.

Self-Isolation Guidance as of 16th August 2021:

  • Close contacts under the age of 18 and over 18’s who have received TWO VACCINES 14 days or more prior to contact with a positive case no longer need to self-isolate. Close contacts are strongly encouraged to obtain a PCR test.
  • Over 18s identified as close contacts who have NOT received two vaccines must continue to self-isolate for a 10 day period.
