 Miss Gemma Blackshaw – Teaching Assistant

Gemma has worked at Samuel Laycock since 2012 and joined the Team in the Autism Base In September 2016.  She has a particular passion and talent in all things artistic and runs an after school club in Art.

 Miss Emma Higgins – Teaching Assistant

Emma has been a Teaching Assistant at Samuel Laycock since 2014 and she joined the Team in the Autism Base in September 2016.  As well as working in the Base she has a joint responsibility as Medical Co-ordinator and oversees all the medical and health care needs of all pupils in school.

 Miss Katy Taylor - Teaching Assistant

                          (Currently on Maternity Leave)

Katy has worked with students with autism for over 10 years  in a variety of settings.  She is trained in  TEACCH and TEAM TEACH and has a good understanding of how students with ASC learn and progress.
